Safe paid video calls for creators and fans, rule by rule
A paid video call should be simple. Two verified adults, a time both of them agreed to, a price paid upfront and a call that ends when either of them wants. This page explains every rule and protection FansMeetup uses to keep it that way, for creators and for fans.
Everyone is a verified adult
- Every creator passes an ID check and a selfie liveness check with an identity verification provider before her page goes live.
- Every fan passes an age check before the first paid booking.
- Organisers of public fan events are verified before their event page goes live.
- Display names only. A creator's legal name is never shown to fans, and a fan's age check stays private.
Call recording, and why it exists
One on one calls and group sessions are recorded for safety. Both sides agree to this before every call. Recordings are stored encrypted for a limited time and are opened only to handle a report or a dispute, never to watch, share or sell. When the storage time ends, the recording is deleted.
Fans may not screen record calls under the terms, and every stream carries a watermark, so a leaked clip can be traced to the account that recorded it.
No numbers, no handles, no meeting requests
Paid calls go wrong most often when they move off the platform. Every message and every booking brief on FansMeetup is scanned for phone numbers, addresses, outside handles and requests to meet. A match is blocked before it reaches the other person, and repeated attempts are reviewed.
Online only, with one public exception
FansMeetup is online only. In-person private meetings, escorting and any offline sexual service for money are forbidden by the terms, and an account that offers or asks for them is closed.
The only offline format is a ticketed event at a public venue, such as a signing at a convention, organised by the creator or a verified organiser. Every ticket holder is a verified adult, venue tickets carry a QR code, and the event ends when the venue session ends. Read more about public fan events.
Report a call, end it, block
-
Every call and every group session has a report button, visible all the time.
-
A creator can end a call at once, for any reason, and remove a fan from a group session.
-
A blocked fan cannot book that creator again, buy her tickets or order from her menu.
-
Reports go to support with the booking details, and the recording is kept until the report is closed.
Zero tolerance for anything involving minors
Every person on camera must be a verified adult. Any content, message, brief or request that involves minors, or suggests a minor, ends the account at once and is reported to the authorities. There are no warnings and no second chances on this rule.
How disputes and refunds work
Fan money is held until the call happens or the order is delivered, so a dispute is always about money that has not been paid out yet.
| Case | Outcome |
|---|---|
| The creator misses the call: | the fan's money goes back to their wallet. |
| The fan misses the call: | the creator is paid for the booked time. |
| A custom video or voice message is not delivered in the window: | the fan's money goes back to their wallet. |
| Something went wrong during the call: | either side reports it, support reviews the booking and, where needed, the recording, and decides who is paid. |
