Virtual ticketing for creators who sell seats, not posts

A virtual ticket turns one hour of your time into a room of paying fans. You set how many seats there are and what each one costs, fans buy before the session starts, and everyone joins from the browser at the same time.

What you can sell with virtual event tickets

Virtual tickets on FansMeetup cover every online format where more than one fan joins at once. Each ticket is one seat in one session, tied to a verified adult account.

  • Group video sessions with 5 to 50 seats, where you talk, answer questions and take requests from your menu

  • Online watch parties for a premiere, a release or a recap after an event

  • Members only sessions that only your VIP fan club can buy

  • Online seats for an appearance you also hold at a public fan event

How virtual ticket sales work, step by step

  1. 1. Create the session

Pick the date and start time, the length, the number of seats and the ticket price. Fans see the time in their own time zone.

  2. 2. Share the ticket link

Put the link in your bio or post it to your fans. The page shows how many seats are left, which helps a session sell out.

  3. 3. Fans pay upfront

Each fan passes the age check before the first paid booking and pays for the seat. The money is held until the session takes place.

  4. 4. Go live in the browser

At the start time ticket holders join with one click. No app, no meeting codes passed around in messages, no links that leak to people who did not pay.

  5. 5. Get paid weekly

When the session is done, your 80 percent goes to your balance and is paid out with your weekly payout, to a bank account or in crypto.

Pricing your virtual tickets for an event

The lowest ticket price is 5 USD per seat for a group session and 10 USD for a ticket to a fan event. Above that, the price is yours. A small session with 10 seats can carry a higher price per seat because every fan gets more of your attention. A large watch party with 50 seats works well at a lower price, because the energy of the crowd is part of what fans pay for.

Fans pay the price on the ticket and nothing more. FansMeetup keeps 20 percent, you keep 80 percent, and there is no monthly fee for creators. Want to see what a month of sessions could add up to? Open the earnings planner and set your own seats and ticket price, or read the full fee table.

Ticketing for virtual events without the usual risks

Open meeting links get shared, screenshotted and passed around. A FansMeetup seat belongs to one verified account, the stream carries a watermark, and the terms forbid fans from screen recording. Sessions are recorded for safety, stored encrypted for a limited time and opened only to handle a report or a dispute. You can remove a fan from the session and block them at any moment. Virtual ticketing questions

How many seats can one session have?

From 5 to 50 seats. You choose the number when you create the session.

What happens if I cancel a session?

Every ticket holder gets their money back to their wallet. Fans book with confidence because they never lose money when a creator cancels.

Can a fan pass a ticket to someone else?

No. A seat belongs to the verified account that bought it, so only verified adults are ever in the room.

Do fans need an app to join?

No. Sessions run in the browser on a phone or a computer.

When do I receive the money from ticket sales?

After the session takes place. Your 80 percent goes to your balance and is paid out in your weekly payout.
