What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages, such as the fact that you are logged in.
Essential cookies we use
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | keeps you logged in and remembers your choices as you move between pages | until you log out or close the browser, or a short period of inactivity |
| Security token | protects forms and bookings against cross site request forgery | for the length of your session |
| Age confirmation | remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so we do not ask on every page | up to one year |
| Preferences | remembers settings such as your time zone for the booking calendar | up to one year |
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No tracking cookies or cross site tracking pixels.
- No cookies from social networks.
- No cookies that build a profile of you for marketing.
Why there is no cookie banner
The law asks for your consent before a site sets cookies that are not strictly necessary. Every cookie on FansMeetup is strictly necessary to run the service you asked for, so no consent banner is needed. If we ever add a cookie that is not essential, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to log in, book calls or confirm your age, because the site cannot work without them.
