FansMeetup

Fan meet and greet, online or at a public venue

A fan meet and greet is a short, booked moment where a creator and her fans actually see each other. FansMeetup lets you run it online with calls and group sessions, or sell tickets when you appear at a public event.

Three ways to run a fan meet and greet

Pick the format that fits how many fans want time with you and how much time you have.

1

Quick one on one greetings

Open a block of 5 minute calls. Each fan gets a private hello, a question answered and a moment with you, booked and paid upfront. It is the most personal format and the easiest to schedule between other work.

2

Group fan meetups

Sell 5 to 50 seats for one hour. Fans join from the browser, ask questions and see each other in the room. One hour of your time serves a whole group. See group sessions.

3

Public event appearances

When you appear at a convention or a public fan event, sell tickets through FansMeetup. Venue tickets carry a QR code, and every ticket holder is a verified adult.

How to plan fan meet ups that fill

  1. Pick a date two weeks out and announce it in every bio and post.
  2. Give VIP members first pick of seats or slots for the first days.
  3. Set a clear length and a clear theme, such as a question hour, a birthday call or a watch along.
  4. Keep the price low enough for a first booking. Seats start at 5 USD and calls at 10 USD per 5 minutes.
  5. Close bookings a few hours before so you know exactly who is coming.

What fans get from a fan meetup

Fans book through the creator's page, pick a slot or a seat in their own time zone and pay before the meetup. The money is held until it happens. If the creator does not show up, it goes back to the fan's wallet. No app and no phone number are needed, and every call has a report button.

Fan meetups with clear limits

Every fan meetup on FansMeetup is online, except ticketed events at public venues organised by the creator or a verified organiser. Private meetings in person are against the terms, and messages that ask for one are blocked.

  • Verified adults only, on both sides.
  • Calls and sessions are recorded for safety and opened only for a report or a dispute.
  • Creators can remove a fan from a session and block them from booking again.
  • Fans may not screen record under the terms, and the stream is watermarked.

Read the safety rules or see how public appearances work on fan events.

Money from every meet and greet

You set the price of each slot and seat. FansMeetup keeps 20 percent of each sale, you keep 80 percent, and fans pay nothing on top. Money from a finished session goes to your balance and is paid out weekly, to a bank account or in crypto. A fan who misses a booked slot still pays for it.

Fan meet and greet questions

How long should an online fan meet and greet be?

One on one greetings work well at 5 minutes each. Group meetups usually run one hour.

Can I limit who joins?

Yes. Set the number of seats, open the first days to VIP members only, or make the session members only.

Can fans meet me after a public event?

No. The meeting starts and ends at the public venue. Private meetings are against the terms.
